About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to join well-established Further Education provider. This temporary opportunity offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on learners working towards a range of qualifications.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across different levels, supporting their academic development and helping them achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons.
*Teach students across GCSE and Functional Skills Maths programmes.
*Assess, monitor, and track learner progress.
*Provide constructive feedback and tailored support to students.
*Maintain accurate records in line with college requirements.
*Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
*Support learner achievement, retention, and progression.
Requirements
*Relevant degree or qualification in Mathematics or a related subject.
*Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) desirable.
*Experience teaching Maths within Further Education, Secondary Education, or Adult Learning settings.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
*Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
