Reed Business Support are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business within the construction sector in their search for an experienced Office Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional who is looking to make a real impact within a dynamic business environment.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and wider business operations.
Key Responsibilities
As Office Manager, your duties will include:
*Overseeing and coordinating all general office operations and administrative functions.
*Managing Human Resources activities, supported by external HR consultants (currently Citation).
*Liaising with and overseeing external IT providers, as well as managing office hardware requirements.
*Supporting client account management alongside the Helpdesk Supervisor, Compliance Manager and General Manager.
*Managing office facilities and supplier relationships, including utilities and telecoms providers.
*Assisting with Health & Safety administration and compliance, with support from external consultants (currently Citation).
*Providing leadership and support to the Helpdesk Supervisor, Compliance Manager and Planner.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous experience in an Office Manager, Senior Administrator or Operations Administration role.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
*The confidence to liaise with both internal teams and external service providers.
*A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
*Experience within a construction, engineering or service-based environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Package
*Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
*Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
*Contract: Full-time, Permanent
