Are you an experienced support professional with a genuine passion for helping people live fulfilling and meaningful lives? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to join an established team supporting a young man in his own home in Woodleys, near Charlbury, Oxfordshire.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred support to a young man with Moderate Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. He has a well-established team around him, and we are seeking individuals who can develop a thorough understanding of his needs, communication style, routines, interests, and support strategies to help him achieve positive outcomes and maintain a fulfilling lifestyle.
The Role
As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the individual both at home and within the community. You will encourage independence, promote wellbeing, and provide consistent support tailored to his individual needs.
Responsibilities include:
*Supporting daily living activities and routines
*Encouraging independence and personal development
*Promoting participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities
*Building positive and trusting relationships
*Following person-centred support plans and risk assessments
*Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes
*Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately
*Working collaboratively as part of an established support team
This role requires patience, resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional support.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
*Previous experience within Health and Social Care
*An in-depth understanding of supporting individuals with:
*Learning Disabilities
*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*ADHD
*Complex support needs
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A positive, proactive, and person-centred approach
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A valid UK driving licence
*Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality care
