I’m working with a growing business in the media sector that has an urgent requirement for a Finance Manager to join the team. This role would suit a hands-on finance professional who can step in quickly, take ownership of key month-end activities, and provide strong support across the finance function.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing month-end processes and associated queries
*Leading and completing large-volume balance sheet reconciliations
*Ensuring accuracy of accruals and prepayments
*Maintaining and reviewing the fixed asset register
*Supporting financial controls and improving processes
*Working closely with the wider business to resolve finance queries
*Using Xero to manage and report financial information
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*Is ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Has solid Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant experience
*Is highly competent with balance sheet reconciliations
*Has a strong understanding of accruals, prepayments and month-end accounting
*Has experience managing fixed asset registers
*Comes from an SME environment and enjoys a hands-on role
*Can start quickly and hit the ground running
*Experience gained within a Top 15 accountancy practice would be highly advantageous
Package
*Fully remote working
*Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
