Proven hands-on experience of undertaking job evaluation, ideally using Korn Ferry methodology, with the ability to apply it consistently across a high volume of roles during organisational change.
Pay impact and reward analysis capability - Strong analytical reward experience, including assessing pay impacts, proposed pay ranges, internal equity, benchmarking data and alignment to reward and organisational design principles.
We’re looking for an experienced and analytical Reward Manager to join our People Team. Reporting to the Head of Reward, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our reward strategy supports business objectives, attracts and retains talent, and delivers a fair, equitable and engaging reward offering for colleagues across the organisation.
You will be responsible for delivering reward analysis, benchmarking and advice that supports informed business decisions and organisational effectiveness. You will lead a range of reward projects and cyclical reward activities, ensuring our reward framework remains competitive, compliant and aligned to our values.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and deliver reward projects and annual reward activities, providing expert support and advice across the organisation.
*Conduct job evaluation and grading reviews, ensuring consistency, fairness and alignment with organisational pay principles.
*Partner with HR Business Partners and Reward colleagues on organisational restructures and ad hoc role reviews.
*Undertake pay impact assessments and analysis, ensuring pay recommendations align with job evaluation outcomes, reporting structures and organisational design principles.
*Gather, analyse and submit data for external pay and benefits benchmarking surveys.
*Review benchmarking results and identify market trends, opportunities and risks to inform reward strategy.
*Carry out ad hoc market benchmarking and reward analysis as required.
*Review compensation and benefits changes within HR systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance and robust audit trails.
*Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of reward and benefits programmes across the organisation.
*Research emerging reward trends, legislative developments and market practices to inform future reward initiatives.
*Provide expert reward guidance and support to the wider HR team and senior stakeholders.
*Contribute to the effective communication of reward policies, practices and benefits, enhancing colleague understanding and engagement.
*CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent professional qualification).
*Significant experience working within a reward, compensation and benefits environment.
*Demonstrable experience of job evaluation methodologies, ideally including Korn Ferry.
*Experience interpreting and presenting reward data and compensation insights to key stakeholders.
*Strong working knowledge of HR systems, including maintaining data integrity and producing meaningful management information.
*Experience designing, implementing and managing reward and benefits programmes.
*Good understanding of current reward trends, market practices and industry developments.
*Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and associated case law.
