Full job descriptionOur client, genuinely one of the most impressive Founders I have had the pleasure of working alongside, is looking for an energetic, driven Business Development/Growth Manager to join him on his brand new venture. Working on a very flexible hybrid basis (1 day a week in the London HQ) and with the financial backing of the Founder’s very successful parent company (whom we have placed 6 x very happy candidates with over the last 2/3 years of working together!), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client is a successful Entrepreneur whom has already created one wildly successful start-up (currently at 20 FTE and regularly working alongside household-name clients including Emirates Airlines/Deloitte/PWC/Rolls-Royce/Sony), and is now doubling down on his own personal brand - delivering keynote speeches to corporate clients across the globe. In order to do so, our client requires the perfect candidate to work very closely alongside him, championing his voice across a variety of channels and opening doors for new speaking opportunities. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Proactively identifying and pursuing high-ticket keynote speaking opportunities at corporate events, leadership summits, and global conferences
- Researching and reaching out to event organisers, HR leaders, L&D teams, and speakers bureaus - your primary buyer personas
- Understanding our client’s content, expertise, and audiences deeply - and tailoring the pitch accordingly
- Managing the full end-to-end process once a booking is secured: planning calls, logistics, contracts, travel, and on-the-day coordination
- Building and managing a pipeline of opportunities, qualifying and converting leads through a consultative approach, tracking progress and following up diligently
- Attending industry events and networking opportunities to represent the brand and generate new leads?
- Owning and maintaining the company’s website - keeping it sharp, up to date, and reflective of latest work and achievements
- Designing and producing compelling marketing collateral that brings the brand to life
- Maintaining a consistent, high-quality brand presence across all channels
- Managing our client’s LinkedIn (primary channel), Instagram/TikTok (growth focus), and YouTube - scheduling posts and maintaining a consistent content calendar
- Creating engaging content that reflects our client’s voice: thought leadership, storytelling insights, behind-the-scenes moments, and speaking highlights
- Repurposing keynote talks, media appearances, and podcast content across channels?
- Be a sounding board for ideas as the brand evolves and expands

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- 2+ years in a Business Development capacity (although not essential, any exposure to marketing, brand, PR or communications would be incredible!)
- Demonstrable experience in outreach, relationship building, and commercial conversations
- Ability/nous to manage social media channels and create content - especially LinkedIn and video
- Commercially sharp, people-first approach - ability to get things done and wait to be told what to do - you spot opportunities, take ownership, and deliver to a high standard
- ’Chameleon’ nature: equally comfortable pitching to a FTSE 100 Chief People Officer as you are coordinating an event across time zones.- Natural ability to build relationship(s) - warm, confident, and credible with senior stakeholders
- Deep curiosity about storytelling, personal development, and human impact
- A growth mindset: you take feedback seriously, learn fast, and keep raising the bar
- Adaptable and resilient nature - comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment?

In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000, our client are also offering the following:

- Uncapped commission structure (realistic Year One OTE: £70,000)
- Flexible hybrid-working arrangement (1 day a week in the London HQ (20+ FTE), the remainder working from home)
- Incredible progression opportunities as the brand grows
- Exposure to working directly with Founder/CEO (and the amazing circle(s) of people this work is involved in!)
