Full job descriptionReed HR are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing organisation in the East Lancashire area as they look to recruit an experienced Human Resources Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and evolving business where customer service, operational excellence and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Human Resources Manager will play a key role within the senior leadership team, providing both strategic and operational HR support while driving people initiatives that support the continued growth and success of the organisation.
This is a highly visible role that requires a commercially focused HR professional who can balance strategic initiatives with hands-on HR delivery, supporting organisational growth, employee engagement, change management and continuous improvement programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
*Providing HR leadership as a key member of the management team.
*Developing strong working relationships across the business and demonstrating a clear understanding of commercial drivers, including KPIs and business performance.
*Identifying strategic people issues and partnering with managers to develop and implement effective people plans.
*Championing employee engagement, culture and behaviours to support exceptional business performance.
*Coaching and developing leaders to effectively manage and engage their teams.
*Providing advice and support on recruitment, organisational restructures, redundancies, succession planning and change management initiatives.
*Managing and supporting complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievances and appeals.
*Developing and maintaining HR systems, processes and reporting mechanisms.
*Producing and analysing HR metrics to identify trends and drive business improvements.
*Supporting recruitment activity across all levels of the organisation to attract high-calibre talent.
*Ensuring HR best practice is consistently applied throughout the business.
*Maintaining and updating company policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements and business needs
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
*Ideally degree educated and/or CIPD qualified.
*Minimum of three years’ experience operating at HR Manager or HR Business Partner level.
*Proven experience providing strategic and operational HR support within a commercial environment.
*Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to manage complex casework.
*Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Demonstrable experience of influencing and coaching managers at all levels.
*Strong knowledge of current UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
