Reed Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving primary school from September. The Role
As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support high-quality teaching and learning across the school. You will be confident leading whole-class lessons, delivering interventions and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
*Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
*Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
*Leading small-group and one-to-one interventions.
*Assisting with the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
*Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
*Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
*Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
About You
The successful candidate will:
*Hold HLTA status or possess significant experience in a similar role.
*Have recent experience working within a primary school setting.
*Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
*Be confident delivering lessons across different year groups.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Be passionate about supporting children to succeed both academically and personally.
*Be flexible, proactive and committed to inclusive education.
