The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide academic, pastoral, and behavioural support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role will involve working both within the classroom and providing targeted support for individual students and small groups.
Key Responsibilities
*Support students in lessons to help them access the curriculum.
*Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
*Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where required.
*Assist students with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs.
*Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement.
*Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
*Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate
*Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, mentoring, coaching, or similar setting.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
*A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
