Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day operation of a busy and nurturing nursery. Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help lead the team, ensure high standards of care and education, and create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Nursery Manager with the daily running of the nursery.
*Lead and motivate staff, providing coaching and support where required.
*Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
*Promote high-quality learning, care, and development for all children.
*Build positive relationships with children, parents, and external professionals.
*Assist with staff supervision, training, recruitment, and performance management.
*Act as Nursery Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
*Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
*Previous experience in a senior nursery position, such as Room Leader or Deputy Manager.
*Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*A genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare.
