Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for Packaging Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production, manufacturing, or packaging experience who are looking for long-term career development and progression.
Available Shifts & Pay Rates
Day Shift
*Monday to Friday
*8:00am to 4:00pm
*40 hours per week
*£12.71 per hour
*Overtime paid at 1.25x hourly rate
Rotating Days & Nights Shift
*Monday to Thursday
*6:00am to 6:00pm / 6:00pm to 6:00am
*48 hours per week
*£15.88 per hour
*Overtime paid at hourly rate
Key Responsibilities
*Operate packaging lines safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
*Carry out machine set-up, changeovers, and cleaning activities.
*Load packaging materials and maintain continuous line operation.
*Monitor production processes and replace materials as required.
*Conduct in-process quality checks and complete production documentation accurately.
*Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, Health & Safety and Quality standards.
*Identify and report minor machine faults and production issues.
*Minimise downtime and waste to maximise line efficiency.
*Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the production area.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
*Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
