Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn established and growing accountancy firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Assistant/Practice Administrator to join their London office. This is a varied role supporting the smooth running of the practice, combining team administration, client onboarding, compliance support & office operations.
The Role
*Provide administrative support to senior stakeholders, partners and wider teams across the practice
*Manage client onboarding processes, including collecting documentation and ensuring client records are complete and accurate
*Support AML/KYC checks, client verification and due diligence processes in line with regulatory requirements
*Maintain client files, records and statutory documentation with a high level of accuracy
*Assist with invoice administration, document processing and maintaining financial records
*Prepare, format and review client correspondence, reports and internal documents
*Coordinate internal administration including employee onboarding and team processes
*Liaise with clients, colleagues and external contacts in a professional and timely manner
*Support wider office operations, including reception cover, post, supplies and general administration
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the efficiency of the practice
About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:
*Previous experience within an accountancy firm or practice environment
*Experience in a role such as Practice Assistant, Team Assistant, Client Administrator, Accounts Administrator or similar
*Exposure to client onboarding, AML/KYC checks, compliance documentation or due diligence processes
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive client information
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*A professional and confident communication style when liaising with clients and internal teams
*A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
*Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
