Job Description:
Full job descriptionTradewind Recruitment is recruiting a resilient Teaching Assistant to support two pupils within a primary school in WA4 Warrington.
This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone who can build positive relationships with pupils who display challenging behaviour and require additional support throughout the school day. The school is specifically looking for a male Teaching Assistant for this position due to the individual needs of the pupils and the importance of providing an appropriate role model.
As a Teaching Assistant in WA4 Warrington, you will:
*Support two pupils on a one-to-one basis
*Help manage challenging behaviour using positive strategies
*Encourage engagement through practical and personalised activities
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
*Promote emotional regulation and social development
The pupils currently access very little of the classroom curriculum, so this Teaching Assistant role focuses on relationship building, consistency and helping them engage positively with school life.
This Teaching Assistant opportunity would be ideal for candidates with backgrounds in behaviour support, youth work, coaching, residential care or SEN.
If you’re interested in this rewarding Teaching Assistant role in WA4 Warrington, we’d love to hear from you.
