Full job descriptionTeaching Assistant - Secondary Schools (Full-Time)Wirral | September Start | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across the Wirral.
Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build your career in education, we have a range of exciting full-time opportunities available supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities may include:
*Supporting pupils with their learning on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
*Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
*Providing additional support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where required.
*Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging student engagement.
*Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for candidates who:
*Have previous experience working with children or young people (school experience is desirable but not essential).
*Are patient, enthusiastic and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Are reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
*Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or transferable experience (preferred but not essential).
