Are you an experienced RICS Registered Valuer for flexible consultancy work?
We’re recruiting for a Residential Surveyor to join a well-established, independent residential surveying practice to cover Tanton and the wider Somerset area.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Surveyor seeking a flexible consultancy position with a consistent pipeline of instructions, strong administrative support and the opportunity to increase workload as desired.
The Role
As a Residential Surveyor, you will:
*Undertake mortgage valuations for a range of lender clients
*Complete RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
*Complete RICS Level 3 Building Surveys
*Produce accurate, professional reports in line with RICS standards and lender requirements
*Manage your own diary and workload efficiently
*Deliver excellent customer service throughout the inspection and reporting process
*Maintain compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory standards
*Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Residential Surveyor Requirements:
*AssocRICS or MRICS qualification
*RICS Registered Valuer (VRS) status is essential
*Proven experience carrying out mortgage valuations
*Experience completing RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys
*Strong knowledge of residential property construction and defects
*Excellent report writing and communication skills
*Highly organised, professional and self-motivated approach
*Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
