Full job description**Sports Coach / Sports Graduate - Primary School Teaching Assistant Opportunity**

Are you a **Sports Coach** or **Sports Graduate** with experience working with children?

Aspire People are currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals from sports and coaching backgrounds who are looking to transfer their skills into a rewarding career within primary education.

Whether you’ve worked in schools, community clubs, holiday camps, or coaching sessions, your experience motivating, engaging, and supporting children can make you an excellent addition to a primary school team.

This role is particularly suited to those who enjoy building positive relationships, promoting teamwork, and supporting children’s confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils within the classroom and during learning activities
* Delivering small-group interventions and physical activity sessions where appropriate
* Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
* Supporting children with SEND and SEMH where required
* Helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence
* Working closely with teachers and support staff

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Degree in Sports, Sports Coaching, Sports Science, or similar (or coaching experience)
* Experience working with children or young people
* Positive, energetic, and patient approach
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Passionate about supporting children’s development
