The Job You’ll Do;
*Reporting to the General Manager, the Factory Manager is responsible for Production, including Warehouse and Hygiene (Dayshift & Nightshift).
*Overseeing all aspects of daily production and facilitating effective collaboration.
*Ensuring that the facility operates to Company standards in Health & Safety, food safety, sustainability and environment.
*Utilising the ERP system to ensure maximum efficiency
*Ensure production plans are delivered on time, in full, and to required quality standards
*Drive improvements in efficiency, yield and waste reduction.
*Manage recruitment and training of production, warehouse and hygiene teams.
*Closely liaise with the Supply Chain, Technical, NPD, H&S and HR departments
*Lead staff engagement and manage in line with company values
*Crisis Management
About You;
*Proven experience in a Managerial role within Food/Drink/FMCG (highly desirable)
*Relevant technical qualifications are desirable, but not essential (Degree, HND, HND etc.)
*Strong leadership and people management skills
*Ability to motivate, inspire and guide teams to achieve goals
*Experience improving processes, productivity and performance
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Knowledge of health & safety and regulatory compliance
*Comfortable working with ERP systems and production data
