Experienced in credit control and debt recovery?
We’re recruiting for a Credit Controller & Debt Recovery Specialist to join a well-respected and growing business based in the Watton area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a varied role that combines credit control, debt recovery, client relationship management and business development within a supportive company that actively encourages career progression.
The Role
As a Credit Controller, you will:
*Manage sales ledgers for multiple clients
*Chase outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment collection
*Allocate and reconcile payments
*Manage a portfolio of debt recovery cases from initial contact through to resolution
*Prepare demand letters, negotiate payment plans and carry out pre-legal debt recovery processes
*Resolve account disputes through effective negotiation with clients and debtors
*Complete bank reconciliations and process payments
*Build strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional customer service
*Support business development activities and identify opportunities to grow the client base
Credit Controller Requirements
*Previous experience within credit control, debt recovery or a similar finance role
*Experience managing company sales ledgers
*Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
*Good understanding of the debt recovery process
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
What’s on Offer?
*Basic salary of up to £33,000
*Bonus scheme with realistic OTE of £35,000 - £36,000
*Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm working hours
