Full job descriptionCurrently supporting a growing, London based Energy company looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. Reporting to the FC, the role will support the finance team and take responsibility to day to day finance operations.


Currently supporting a growing, London based Energy company looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. Reporting to the FC, the role will support the finance team and take responsibility to day to day finance operations.


Key responsibilities will include:
*Maintaining general ledger for UK and Europe
*Leading month end close process
*Preparing balance reconciliations
*Overseeing daily finance operations including journal postings
*Analysing appropriate accounting treatments under IFRS
*Supporting audit process
*Identifying process improvements and controls
*Ad hoc duties


The Candidate:
*Practice trained accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
*Strong technical accounting skills including bookkeeping experience and IFRS (9,16)
*Hands on end to end accounting processes experience
*Good communication skills
*Advanced excel skills
