Hours: 9am - 2:30pm
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Salford for a Temporary Catering Assistant to join their school kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school kitchen or catering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping provide nutritious meals for children.
The Role:
*Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals.
*Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
*Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
*Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and tidy.
*Working alongside an experienced Catering Assistant as part of a friendly and supportive team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience working in a school kitchen or similar catering environment.
*Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
*The ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
*A reliable, flexible, and positive attitude.
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
