You’ll regularly interact with finance teams across multiple international entities, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships as much as solving technical accounting challenges.
Description
Joining a collaborative Group Reporting team, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of technical accounting and financial reporting activities, including:
*Group consolidations across an international business
*Preparation of IFRS statutory financial statements
*Monthly, half-year and year-end group reporting
*Technical accounting research and paper writing
*Supporting complex accounting matters including acquisitions, disposals and new accounting standards
*Working closely with external auditors and finance teams across multiple international entities
*Contributing to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls


Profile
I’m keen to speak with ACA or ACCA qualified accountants currently working in audit or financial reporting within practice. You could come from a Big 4, Top 10 or well-regarded regional firm, but my client are far more interested in your technical foundation, curiosity and attitude than the name on your CV. You’ll likely have exposure to some of the following:
*Group audits or multi-entity businesses
*IFRS financial reporting
*Consolidated financial statements
*Multi-currency environments
*Technical accounting issues
*Acquisitions, disposals or other complex accounting areas
Equally important are your communication skills. This role involves working with stakeholders across an international group, so we’re looking for someone who can build relationships, influence others and confidently see tasks through to completion.
