Description
*Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
*Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Supervise and support the finance team with their daily tasks.
*Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
*Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
*Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
*Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
*Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial management.
*Proficiency in financial systems and software.
*Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
*Strong leadership and team management abilities.
*Clear and effective communication skills.
*Understanding of the not for profit sector (SORP, UK GAAP, FRS 102)
Job Offer
*Salary from £62,213+ dependent on the level of experience.
*25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
*Death in service benefit (4 x salary).
*8% pension contribution (fully funded by the company).
