Monday-Friday – days only 8am-4pm

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business in Redditch to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing organisation where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of production operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities in line with maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency
*Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production disruption
*Undertake reactive maintenance and repair work across a variety of production machinery and plant equipment
*Perform fault-finding activities using a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective long-term solutions
*Maintain, repair, and improve both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
*Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement projects and drive operational excellence
*Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase manufacturing efficiency
We are keen to speak with experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with:
*Relevant engineering qualifications
*A strong multi-skilled engineering background with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
*Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a wide range of manufacturing equipment and automated machinery
*Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, industrial, or heavy engineering environment
*A proactive and solutions-focused approach to maintenance, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
*Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to identifying root causes rather than temporary fixes
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments
