Full job descriptionThe Head of Reporting role will see you overseeing financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. You’ll play a key part in supporting the business by delivering timely insights and maintaining strong financial controls

Description
*Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts across the Group, including both audited and non-audited entities.
*Drafting high-quality papers for the Audit Committee.
*Acting as the owner of the Group reporting and consolidation systems, defining requirements, scoping improvements and ensuring robust data consolidation.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
*Develop and maintain financial reporting processes and controls.
*Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
*Collaborate with other departments to align financial reporting with business objectives.
*Manage and mentor the reporting team to achieve high performance.
*Driving improvements to reporting processes, strengthening controls and embedding disciplined reporting rhythms to consistently meet demanding deadlines.
*Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
*Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
Profile
*A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
*Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards within a large, complex organisation
*Proven ability to deliver high-quality reporting against challenging deadlines
*Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems, including ownership of system improvements and data consolidation.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
*Confidence engaging with executive-level stakeholders, presenting financial information and influencing decision-making.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £75,000- £85,000, plus benefits inc car allowance
