Location: Loughborough
Job Type: 6 months ( Temp to perm)
Working Hours: Mon to Thurs 7am -4pm, Fri 7am to 1pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Slinger to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company in Loughborough. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position with a company that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities*Operating overhead cranes ranging from 25-tonne to 150-tonne capacity.
*Slinging and safely moving large steel coils and other heavy products around the site.
*Matching product numbers and ensuring materials are moved to the correct locations.
*Working closely with production and logistics teams to maintain efficient workflow.
*Carrying out pre-use equipment checks and following all health and safety procedures.
*Working at height where required in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements*Previous experience as an Overhead Crane Slinger.
*Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence.
*Experience operating overhead cranes up to 150 tonnes.
*Working at Heights training or certification.
*Ability to accurately identify and match product numbers.
*Strong awareness of health and safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
*Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
