Description
*End-to-end Payroll experience.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
*Oversea all Payroll processing activities.
*Take ownership of payroll accounting activities, including payroll journals, balance sheet reconciliations and control account management, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
*Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies effectively.
*Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
*Collaborate with the accounting and finance department on payroll-related matters.
*Prepare payroll reports and provide analysis as required.
*Year-end processes, including tax reporting and reconciliations.
*Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and practices.
*Manage a small Payroll team.
Profile
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
*Experience in end-to-end payroll within a similar role.
*Experience of payroll reconciliations, controls and audit processes.
*Experience delivering payroll improvement and change initiatives.
*Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
*Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
*Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
*Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
*Experience of managing a team is advantageous.
