The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is looking to recruit an experienced SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Chester.
This rewarding role involves supporting learners with a variety of additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to education while building confidence and making academic progress. Every tuition programme is tailored to the individual learner, allowing tutors to make a genuine impact.
Position Details
* Location: Chester
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
* QTS or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience supporting children with SEND
* Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
* A patient, adaptable and engaging teaching style
To be eligible you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Have an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
