The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is recruiting Functional Skills Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition across Wirral.
We’re looking for experienced tutors who can deliver Functional Skills English and/or Maths, supporting learners to develop essential skills, gain qualifications and achieve positive outcomes.
Position Details
* Location: Wirral
* Position: Functional Skills Tutor
* Hours: Flexible (5-15 hours per week)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths
* Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A flexible and engaging teaching style
Requirements
* Right to Work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
* Two professional references
