Are you a graduate interested in communication, child development, psychology or supporting children with additional needs? This Speech & Language Teaching Assistant opportunity in Wilshire - Trowbridge is an excellent chance to gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a welcoming school while developing skills that can support a future career in Speech & Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, Teaching, Occupational Therapy or wider SEND provision.
As a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant you will work alongside experienced teachers, SENCO’s and Speech & Language Therapists to help children develop their communication skills, confidence and independent. This role is ideal for aspiring Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologist, Teachers, SEND professionals looking to build practical experience


The Role
As a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant you will:
*Provide 1-1 and small group support for children with speech, language and communication needs
*Support children with Autism, Speech delays, social communication and language difficulties
*Support emotional regulation to helping children communication their needs effectively
*Adapt classroom activities to ensure children can access learning

What we offer
This Speech & Language position provides:
*£85-£110 per day, depending on experience
*PAYE - Weekly pay
*Full and Part time roles starting in September 2026
