Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools | Penrith | September 2026 Start
Veritas Education are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Penrith from September 2026.
This is an ideal opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience supporting young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensure students remain engaged with the work set, and maintain a positive learning environment. No lesson planning or marking is required.
The Role:*September 2026 start
*Full-time and part-time roles available
*Opportunities for both daily supply and long-term placements
*Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
*Support students’ learning and classroom engagement
*Manage behaviour effectively and confidently
The Ideal Candidate:*Confident and capable of leading a classroom
*Experience working with children or young people is desirable
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Resilient, adaptable and professional
*Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one)
