Full job descriptionAs a Management Accountant in the retail industry, based near Cannock, you’ll play a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting to support business decisions.
This is a hands-on role that keeps the accounting and finance department running smoothly.

They are looking for a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a hybrid opportunity paying up to £55,000 near Cannock.

Description
*Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Support year-end processes, including liaising with auditors.
*Provide financial analysis to assist decision-making across the business.
*Maintain and develop strong financial controls and processes.
*Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning initiatives.
*Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
*Experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
*Multi site Management Accounts experience.
*Able to drive is essential.
*Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
*An understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Job Offer
*Salary between £50,000 and £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent position with a hybrid working arrangement (2 days remote).
