Are you an experienced School Premises Officer looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and well-maintained school environment?
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Premises Officer to join a lovely school in Lewisham on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of school premises management, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, secure and positive environment for pupils and staff.
A degree is preferred, alongside relevant practical experience and a strong understanding of premises, facilities and health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school premises
*Ensure the site is safe, clean, secure and well presented
*Carry out regular checks, inspections and basic maintenance
*Coordinate repairs and liaise with contractors and external providers
*Support compliance with health & safety, fire safety and statutory requirements
*Manage site-related issues efficiently and proactively
*Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
