Bradford - BD6 AreaImmediate Start / Ongoing Role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Our supply agency is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Support Assistant to work with primary-aged pupils who have a range of complex needs in a welcoming school around the BD6 area of Bradford.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive, structured environment and is committed to helping children access learning in a way that works for them.
About the Role
*Supportingprimary-aged pupils with a variety of complex additional needs, which may include:*Communication and interaction needs
*Social, emotional, and mental health needs
*Sensory processing differences
*Learning difficulties
*Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils engage with learning
*Implementing personalised strategies and support plans
*Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
*Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
*Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
*Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting
*A calm, patient, and consistent approach
*Confidence working with pupils who may display challenging behaviour
*Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
*Someone reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
*Teamwork skills and the ability to follow guidance from teaching staff
