Experienced in residential property management?
We’re recruiting for a Property Manager to join a busy, well-established independent estate agency in Loughton, managing a portfolio of residential rental properties from move-in through to tenancy end.
The Role
As a Property Manager, you will:
*Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle
*Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
*Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
*Arrange and carry out routine property inspections
*Manage tenancy renewals, amendments and end-of-tenancy processes
*Ensure all properties remain compliant with current legislation
*Handle maintenance enquiries and coordinate contractors
*Resolve landlord and tenant queries professionally and efficiently
*Maintain accurate property records and update internal systems
*Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
Property Manager Requirements:
*Minimum 1 year’s recent residential property management experience
*Previous experience managing your own property portfolio
*Strong understanding of UK landlord and tenant legislation, including ASTs and tenancy management
*Experience handling inspections, maintenance, renewals, check-outs and contractor management
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
*Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
*Competent IT skills and experience using property management software
*Must live within approximately a 30-minute commute of Loughton during peak travel times
*A driving licence is not required
