A highly reputable Glossop primary school is seeking a committed KS1 teacher for a three-day-a-week role commencing October 2026. The school is known for its high standards, calm learning environment and happy, motivated pupils.
Set in beautiful countryside and serving a diverse community, the school offers exceptional facilities, including SEND specialist provisions, sensory rooms, reading caravans, and a rock-climbing wall. Classrooms are purposeful and well-structured, enabling children to thrive academically and personally.
The successful teacher will:
*Demonstrate strong KS1 curriculum knowledge - ensuring teaching is accurate, well-sequenced and ambitious
*Use adaptive teaching methods to maximise progress for all learners
*Support a holistic approach to children’s development, valuing wellbeing alongside academic achievement
*Make effective use of outdoor learning spaces to enrich lessons and broaden experiences
*Teach a broad, balanced curriculum that inspires curiosity and confidence
*Apply formative and summative assessment to identify next steps and determine when intervention is needed
