Job Role – Field Service EngineerA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business. Covering customer sites across the South of England, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial equipment, ensuring customers receive a first-class service.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer (Must Have)*Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer

*Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background

*Experience working in automated environment (Manufacturing or Industrial)
*Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 or equivalent)

*Full UK Driving Licence

*Must live within a 40-mile radius of Reading

*Willingness to travel across the South of England

Essential Requirements of the Field Service Engineer*Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment

*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and mechanical systems

*Excellent customer service and communication skills

*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

*Good understanding of health and safety procedures

*Flexible approach to travel and occasional overtime

Desirable Requirements*Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or automated machinery

*PLC fault-finding experience

*Installation and commissioning experience

*Previous experience working within manufacturing, industrial, packaging or material handling environments

The Field Service Engineer Will Benefit From*£51,000 basic salary

*Door-to-door overtime with realistic earnings of £55,000+

*Company van with personal use

*Monday-Friday days role

*Ongoing technical training and development
