Full job descriptionThis Management Accountant role in Brighton is all about keeping the numbers in check and helping the business make smart financial decisions. You’ll be handling the day-to-day financial reporting and analysis to ensure everything runs smoothly in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

Description
*Prepare and review monthly management accounts to provide accurate financial insights.
*Analyse financial data to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
*Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
*Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
*Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
*Assist with the development and implementation of financial processes and controls.
*Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A recognised accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
*Experience in financial reporting and analysis, ideally within the manufacturing/distribution industry.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Good communication skills to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
*An ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

*Salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
