Description
*Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis to agreed deadlines for all Group companies.
*Prepare quarterly forecasts and rolling budgets.
*Oversee general ledger integrity, including control account reconciliations, corrections, and adjustments.
*Provide tailored monthly budget reports and meet with budget holders to review variances, cost control, and grant-related expenditure and identify opportunities for efficiencies and solutions. Offer training where needed.
*Support the annual budget process, engaging managers, preparing schedules, and coordinating SLT review.
*Assist with year-end financial statements and external audit.


Profile
*Qualified (or studying towards qualification) accountant with CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, or equivalent experience.
*Proven experience preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience building effective relationships across operational teams.
*Advanced Excel and financial systems skills, with a proactive approach to improving processes and driving value for money.


Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £49,500 to £60,500, dependent on the level of experience.
