This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a highly established employment team within a leading litigation-focused practice in Glasgow. The role
You’ll manage a broad caseload of contentious employment law matters, acting for both claimants and respondents. The work includes Employment Tribunal litigation from instruction through to resolution, advocacy at preliminary and substantive hearings, settlement negotiations and advisory matters arising from disciplinary, grievance and dismissal processes. You’ll be trusted to lead files independently while collaborating with partners on more complex or high-value cases.
As your experience develops, there will be scope to take on increased responsibility through mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to client development and wider team initiatives.
About you
This role would suit an Employment Solicitor who:
*Is qualified with solid post-qualification experience in employment law
*Operates comfortably at Associate or Senior Associate level
*Has a strong technical grounding with a pragmatic, commercial approach
*Is confident managing matters autonomously and delivering high standards of client service
*Has advocacy experience or is keen to further develop it
*Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues
*Is organised, IT-confident and able to manage competing priorities
*Is interested in mentoring or supporting junior team members
