A growing and ambitious independent accountancy practice in Cheshire is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its leadership team.




Description
Key responsibilities of the Audit Senior Manager:


*Managing a portfolio of audit and audit/accounts clients across a range of sectors.
*Leading audits from planning through to completion.
*Reviewing statutory accounts, audit files, and associated client work.
*Building strong and lasting client relationships.
*Providing practical, commercial advice to owner-managed businesses.
*Managing, coaching, and developing junior team members.
*Supporting business development initiatives and identifying growth opportunities.
*Contributing to strategic decision-making within the firm.


Profile
A successful Audit Senior Manager should:
*Be ACA or ACCA qualified.
*Have substantial experience within an accountancy practice environment.
*Have either:*A predominantly audit background; or
*Experience across both audit and accounts.

*Possess strong technical and client-facing skills.
*Have experience managing teams and reviewing work.
*Demonstrate commercial awareness and leadership potential.
*Be motivated by the opportunity to progress to RI and Partnership level.
*Able to work from the firms Nantwich office.
