Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
About the Company
Our client is a well-established flooring company based in Chessington, supplying high-quality flooring products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. Working within a busy environment, you will be responsible for picking, packing, loading, unloading, and preparing flooring products for dispatch while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
*Picking and packing flooring products accurately for customer orders
*Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
*Checking incoming stock and reporting any discrepancies
*Labelling, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
*Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
*Assisting with stock control and stock takes
*Moving stock within the warehouse as required
*Following all health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
*Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
*Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy flooring materials
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong work ethic and reliability
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Good communication skills
*Flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse when required
