Our client Acorn Builders is looking to recruit a Working Foreman to join their team in undertaking all aspects of site supervision and coordination of construction teams effectively enabling cost effective targets to be met.
The main duties will include:
*Coordinating tasks for the day including but not limited to creating schedules for workers, overseeing quality of the site, managing the budget and daily inspections of site in accordance with drawings.
*Procurement of standard materials from approved suppliers and checking that materials, equipment, and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements.
*To monitor and produce good quality of work.
*Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors.
*Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all sites and undertake activities on site are in line with health and safety procedures.
*Create and maintain of all necessary paperwork required to ensure safe operations
*Ensure all work site areas are prepared prior to commencement of work and cleared in a safe and correct manner.
Skills and Qualifications
*Site Supervisor experience
*Be able to supervise a team.
*Confident in taking information from drawings.
*A good knowledge of Residential Developments
*Must have a valid UK driving licence.
