Full job descriptionIf you’re a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys statutory reporting but also wants to add value through projects and process improvements, this could be the ideal next move.
Joining a large, well-established, multi-site business, you’ll take ownership of statutory reporting across multiple legal entities while working closely with senior finance leaders, auditors and the wider business.
What you’ll be doing:*Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS102)
*Leading year-end audit activities and managing auditor relationships
*Supporting tax reporting and regulatory compliance
*Ensuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
*Researching technical accounting matters and implementing new standards
*Driving finance process improvements and supporting transformation projects
*Partnering with stakeholders across various functions
About you:*ACA or ACCA qualified
*Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting experience
*Confident managing external audits
*Experience within a large group or multi-entity environment
*Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
*Proactive, commercially aware and keen to improve processes
