Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a highly regarded specialist professional services firm to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing London team.
This is a genuinely unique opportunity for a newly qualified ACA looking to move away from traditional audit and into a commercially focused, investigative role sitting at the intersection of accounting, insurance, legal services and complex financial disputes.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team of accountants and legal professionals, you will investigate, quantify and report on complex financial losses, supporting major insurance claims across a broad range of industries and jurisdictions.
The OpportunityYou will be involved in high-profile assignments relating to:
*Financial crime and fraud investigations
*Cyber-related losses and business interruption claims
*Professional negligence matters
*Banking, financial services and fiduciary-related disputes
*Trade credit and political risk claims
*Complex financial loss quantification exercises
This is a highly analytical and report-driven role, offering exposure to international assignments, senior stakeholders and intellectually challenging work from day one.
Key Responsibilities*Investigating complex financial loss and insurance claims
*Analysing financial information, business records and supporting evidence
*Preparing detailed written reports for insurers, legal teams and other stakeholders
*Quantifying financial losses and supporting settlement negotiations
*Managing claims from initial notification through to final resolution
*Liaising with clients, insurers, lawyers and other professional advisers
*Supporting business development initiatives and client relationship management
About YouWe are keen to speak with ambitious individuals who combine strong technical accounting skills with exceptional written communication abilities.
Requirements:
*ACA qualified (or recently qualified)
*Trained within accounting practice, ideally in Audit
*Up to 2 years’ post-qualified experience
*Strong academic background, ideally from a Russell Group or Red Brick university
*Degree in a non-numerical discipline such as English, History, Law, Geography, Politics or a similar essay-based subject
*Outstanding report writing and written communication skills
*Commercial mindset and intellectual curiosity
*Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
Desirable:
*Exposure to forensic accounting, investigations or disputes work
*Insurance sector experience
*Additional language skills, particularly Spanish
*Experience producing detailed technical or analytical reports
