Description
Finance Manager responsibilities:
*Manage day-to-day finance operations, including monthly accounting close activities, accounts receivable oversight, cash flow and working capital management
*Lead and develop the finance function, including line management and mentoring
*Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analyses
*Lead the annual budgeting process and produce regular forecasts, monitoring financial performance and identifying variances, trends, and actionable insights
*Collaborate with business stakeholders to monitor expenditure, improve financial performance, and support informed decision-making
*Maintain robust internal financial controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
*Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing documentation and liaising with auditors to meet all requirements
*Keep up to date with changes in financial legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Relevant accounting or finance qualification
*Experience in financial management, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
*Strong understanding of financial controls, regulatory compliance requirements, and financial reporting standards
*Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
*Excellent communication skills
*Proven leadership ability, including managing and developing finance teams to deliver business objectives
Job Offer
