Full job description1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
We’re looking for dedicated, patient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for children with a variety of additional needs in Bradford. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
*Provide 1:1 support tailored to the needs of individual pupils
*Work with children with autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, SEMH, learning delays, sensory needs, and other additional needs
*Support pupils in class, during interventions, and through personalised learning activities
*Help create a calm, inclusive and engaging learning environment
*Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
*Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

*Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
*A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils
*Confidence supporting behaviour, emotional regulation and communication
*Reliability and commitment to helping children succeed
