The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across Wrexham through personalised 1:1 tuition.
This role is ideal for tutors who enjoy working outside of a traditional classroom environment, supporting learners who may be disengaged from education, awaiting a school placement or benefiting from alternative provision.
You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with students while helping them regain confidence and make meaningful educational progress.
Position Details
* Location: Wrexham
* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience supporting children or young people on a 1:1 basis
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners
* QTS or equivalent (desirable)
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
