Hours: Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm Friday: 9:00am - 2:30pm
Salary: up to £31,356p/a
We are a well-established, family-run business with over 35 years of success and a close-knit team of approximately 12 employees. We are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts & Administration to support the day-to-day running of our office.
Key Responsibilities
*Inputting financial data using Sage Line 50.
*Answering incoming telephone calls and acting as the first point of contact, directing calls or dealing with accounts and administration enquiries.
*Creating invoices and delivery notes.
*Preparing DHL courier documentation and organising pallet collections.
*Chasing outstanding debts and maintaining accurate debtor records.
*Liaising with import couriers and handling customs documentation.
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
*Processing the four-weekly payroll.
*Banking and reconciling payments.
*Providing general administrative support to the office team.
About You
*Previous experience in an accounts and administration role.
*Confident user of Sage Line 50.
*Strong telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
*Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
*Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a small, friendly team.
