Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary to Ongoing
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Weekend work available)
Shift Times: Day shifts starting at 6:00 AM or 10:00 AM
The RoleWe are currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for a temporary ongoing position based in Bedford/Kempston. This role involves delivering a variety of white goods, brown goods, and bulky household items directly to customers’ homes while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities*Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and efficiently.
*Delivering white goods, brown goods, and other bulky household items to customers’ homes.
*Manual handling and lifting of items weighing up to 80-90kg as part of a two-person delivery team where required.
*Carrying goods into customers’ properties and placing them in the requested room.
*Completing delivery paperwork and following company procedures.
*Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery.
Requirements*Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
*Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
*Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
*Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
