The Opportunity
We’re looking for experienced KS3 & KS4 Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 support to children and young people across Hampshire.
Working alongside Local Authorities, you’ll support learners who require alternative educational provision due to a range of circumstances, including SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, and disrupted education. Your role will be to help students make academic progress, build confidence, and develop a positive relationship with learning.
With flexible hours and a September start, this is an excellent opportunity for education professionals looking to make a meaningful impact through personalised tuition.
*Location: Hampshire
*Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
*Start Date: September
*Hours: Flexible
*Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
*Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements
*Minimum 6 months’ experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
*Experience delivering lessons at KS3 and/or KS4
*Strong subject knowledge in one or more curriculum areas
*Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions
*Experience supporting students with SEND or EHCPs is advantageous
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel within your local area

*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
*ADHD
*Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance
*EHCPs and additional educational needs
